COSMOS INSURANCE COMPANY PUBLIC LTD (the “Company”) announces the appointment of Mr. Andreas Mamas as a non-independent, executive member of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective 23 October 2025.
The decision to appoint Mr. A. Mamas was made by the Board of Directors of the Company, subject to the approval of the Insurance Companies Control Service, in accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework, and such approval has been duly obtained.
Mr. Mamas holds a BSc (Hons) in Financial and Banking Management from the University of Piraeus, as well as an MSc in Insurance & Risk Management from Cass Business School, City University London. In addition, he has been a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales – ICAEW) since December 2012.
He previously worked at EY, where he served from September 2012 until February 2020 in the audit services department. Since March 2020, he has been employed by the Company as Chief Financial Officer.
